The curved hairline and the fading of the taper show that even with popular tapered cuts, there are many ways to make short curly haircuts interesting and cool. By and large, mousses are bodifying formulas that plump up strands and add volume to waves and curls. Scrunch into wet hair and let dry; "It’s ok if they dry a bit crispy at first," says Scarlett.

We've gathered some experts to give you tips and tricks to help. Embrace lightweight volumizers and gentle teasing methods while remembering the importance of deep conditioning to maintain hair health. Achieving that perfect fluff is about aesthetic appeal and nurturing and understanding your hair’s unique characteristics. In the end, when you attain that dreamy, cloud-like volume, you’ll realize that the journey to fluffy perfection was worth every strand of effort. After revitalizing your locks with dry shampoo, fluff and tousle your hair to refine the final touch of fullness and shape.

Can You Use Purple Toning Shampoo On Brown Hair?

The outward curl shape causes hair to lift away from the roots, creating extra volume and fluffiness near the crown. Even if the rollers are used to create loose waves rather than tight curls, this shape adds a dimension to the hair that can make it look fuller and more buoyant. Hair rollers, or curlers, do not require additional styling products. They are hair styling tools made of plastic, soft foam, flexi rods, and added velcro surfaces that cling to the hair for better hold.

How to Do the Pineapple Method on Naturally Curly Hair

This will help with volume and also help lift curls from your scalp. I highly recommend diffusing, I find it gives me the best volume. Instead, gently move the curl clumps from side to side while you are drying. The curl clumps should start to separate on their own as you diffuse.

Some people pride themselves on owning a massive shoe collection. Dry shampoo is a quick and easy way to add volume to your hair and enhance natural curls or wavy hair by refreshing your roots. Spray it at the roots to absorb excess oil, create texture, and give your hair that desired fluffy look. “I like The Ultimate Teaser Backcombing Hair Brush from TANGLE TEEZER to add lift at the roots, or using volumizing products that give your hair that extra oomph,” explains Pearl. There are so many secrets to getting the right haircut for your naturally curly hair. For instance, you should avoid bangs, as longer hair works better than shorter hair, and it's a myth that you need a specialist in curly hair to cut yours.

When used properly by applying from mid-lengths to ends, sea salt spray balances extra volume at the roots with perfectly imperfect texture along the lengths. The result is soft, touchable fluff with lots of body and movement. Sea salt spray allows hair to achieve maximum volume and fluffiness that lasts all day.

Texturizing overnight tools bring out waves and curls to pump up volume in the morning when released. To get fluffy hair from straight hair, ask your stylist for blended face-framing layers and internal thinning throughout the interior hair to remove bulk. These techniques maximize texture, lift roots, and fake fullness even when working with flat, straight strands. Moreover, the hairspray’s gritty feel helps maintain the volume, ensuring the airiness doesn’t flatten out as the day progresses. It bridges volumized roots and textured lengths, balancing the two to perfection. A texturizing hairspray contains ingredients like sea salt, magnesium sulfate, starches, or silicas that give hair a more tousled, lived-in appearance.

How to Get Curly Braids in 7 Easy Steps

When sprayed, it clings to individual hair strands, enhancing their natural pattern and introducing an element of controlled randomness. The result is a style that looks effortlessly chic, lending hair the much-desired loftiness and depth synonymous with fluffy hair. Blow drying the hair upside down utilizes the pull of gravity to add lift and volume at the roots. When the head is flipped upside down, the hair falls away from the scalp. Drying it in this position makes the hair retain volume and lift when flipped back upright. Volumizing shampoos and conditioners lift the hair from the roots, expanding each hair shaft.

Emollients help condition, smooth, and reduce frizz, allowing the hair to achieve fullness without becoming crispy or brittle. To amp up the volume and height on your fluffy style, especially at the roots, reach for dry shampoo. Not only will it absorb oils and refresh your hairstyle, but it will add volume and height at the top of your head. Since fluffy hair and volume go hand-in-hand, one of the easiest things you can do to achieve the style is to blow dry your hair upside down. This technique works well for long hair and short hair alike because it lifts your roots off of your scalp, which works to enhance volume. Simply flip your hair upside down and dry your hair with a boar bristle brush to get your desired fluffy result.

Pair it with a bright lip and some overalls for a funky, casual look, or go the evening route with a clean cat eye and an LBD. You’ll end up with thin-looking areas and thick areas that make your hair look like an uneven mess. No matter which product types you choose (gels, styling creams, mousse, etc.), it’s a good idea to stick to the ones with volumizing properties. Yes, your hair will likely pouf up into a mass of curls after brushing, but Scrivo says this is okay. Simply wait until just before bed to brush and refresh your hair in the morning.

Curly pixie cuts are the definitive cuts for showing off your facial features and your eyes. Add a bit of highlights to your hair color and before you know it, you’ll be looking in the mirror and seeing a whole new you rocking your new short curly hair. In Beauty Lab tests, this serum scored high for fighting frizz in humid conditions, and our testers were impressed with its performance — even in Florida humidity. A tester said it made bleached hair feel "softer and more manageable." The cream formula is best for medium to thick hair.

Their long, silky, fluffy coats will dust the floor if they’re not trimmed—if you’ve ever seen a Shih Tzu before and after it’s been to the groomer, it’s like seeing two different dogs! Playful, loving Shih Tzus adore spending time with their human companions, and are more content with a short walk to the coffee shop than they are with a run in the dog park. Plus Shih Tzus are one of the few breeds that need their own hair accessories—barrettes, bows and hair ties to keep their long hair out of their eyes. Overusing a pre-wash can ultimately have the opposite of a desired effect, leaving hair greasy. While every product differs, most should be used at most twice a week for 20 minutes. Note that all-natural products often need longer (they can be left on overnight) to soak in.

Loaded with plant extracts (think calming chamomile and regenerative sage), this relaxing balm is designed to trap flyaways and gently smooth your curls. Guar gum works to protect the hair follicle from heat and humidity by wrapping it in a soft film-forming gum. While all dogs are lovable, some people are drawn to certain “looks” in a pet pooch. And if you’re one of those who “oohs” and “ahhs” over dogs with a billowy, cloud-like coat, you’re in luck! Their fluffy appearance often gives them the look of an adorable stuffed animal—some even look like teddy bears—and there’s nothing like running your hands through that thick, soft fur as you pet them. Experimenting with affordable drugstore products first helps you figure out what sort of cocktail works for you. Once you have that nailed down, you can then invest in more luxury or high-quality curl products for long-term use. Oh, and if you need any more help styling your curly locks, we've rounded up 7 super-smart tips for making the most of your curly mane.

Curly Cut with Blue and Red Highlights

One benefit of having curly hair is that you have a naturally built-in hairstyle. With a few tweaks and a little love, a beautiful style can be achieved without having to pull out a whole tool kit. Braiding or twisting the hair when it's wet can allow it to set into a wavy look, while pin curls, sock curls, or Bantu knots can also create magic the following morning. The curves and bends in the hair shaft create volume and lift that lasts when hair is taken down from the rollers.

Big fluffy dogs

If you’re working with curly hair, using a lightweight mousse will improve and shape your hair for smooth and bouncy curls. Apply some hair mousse to your damp hair, scrunch it up, and let it air dry to make it fluffy. One of the simplest ways to fluff up curly hair is to reach for a hair diffuser. This hair tool attachment is especially great for curly strands since it disperses air to gently dry and fluff the hair for a bouncy and healthy set of curls. This chunky, messy curly bob with its curly bangs is a unique take on a popular style.

Use Dry Shampoo to Lift the Roots and Refresh

Hair Stylist, Kat Zemtsova, who concocted the clever method explained that it's a 'form of teasing' your curls to create a more textured, voluminous finish. Instead of the volume sitting it at the roots of your hair, by umbrella-ing, you expand the curl to create a fluffier finish. If you need more styling options, try one of our favorite ways to style a scarf. This angelic look is one of our top curly hair hairstyles for its elegant feel and boho vibe.

Ouidad Advanced Climate Control Defrizzing Shampoo

Frizz tends to happen more when your hair is lacking moisture or when it's exposed to humid conditions,” adds Pearl. Fluffy hair is not unruly or a hard-to-manage hairstyle; rather, it’s polished and intentional. For reference, Black people spent about 86 percent of the $63.5 million spent on all Ethnic Hair and Beauty Aids in 2017, according to a study by Nielsen.

Leatherwood adds, "Be sure to diffuse your hair from side to side and back to front, and use an afro pick at the root base to lift hair to get volume and height." Tina Moretti, a passionate hair care enthusiast with over a decade of expertise, dedicates herself to empowering women with proven hair care advice. Recognized for her hands-on experience and trusted guidance, Tina turns every strand into a statement of beauty and confidence. When hair is still damp, scrunch and tousle it with your fingers to boost texture and volume before it dries. Switch up your partings as well – try zig-zag parts or move your part from side to side to inject volume at the roots as needed. A light hold hairspray maintains the softness and touch ability of the hair, ensuring it feels as good as it looks.

To achieve a fluffy hairstyle, depth, dimension, layers, and airy volume are essential. That’s when a teasing comb becomes an indispensable tool, as it helps build volume from the roots while maintaining breeziness throughout the lengths and ends. Be sure to gently move the curl clumps from side to side as you are diffusing or air drying! Once curls are 100% dry, flip your head over and gently shake curls at the roots. A great way to make your beautiful hair fluffy is to use hot rollers.

Hair rollers can also add more bounce for a more fluffy aesthetic. To achieve the fluffy hair look, you need specific products and techniques to sculpt your hair into the voluminous, ethereal soft, and feathery style that defines fluffiness. While still in the shower with hair still pushed forward, gently press the excess water out of your curl clumps. Now would be the time to apply a leave-in conditioner or hair balm, if you choose.

All you need to do is pull your hair into a high (but loose) bun with an elastic band. When your hair dries, it lifts off from your scalp, making your hair softer and more voluminous. You can also use an elastic headband made out of fabric to add volume to your hair.

Roll them into your hair when it’s about 80 percent dry (still slightly damp) or wear them while you sleep to preserve your voluminous ‘do. Lightweight, cleansing, and deeply hydrating — the Amika Hydro Rush shampoo delivers everything we want out of a cleanser to keep curls soft and bouncing. We tested shampoos for curly hair in our own showers, and out of the many cleansers we tested, this one earned the prime spot as the best overall. We found that the shampoo stays true to its name in providing an immediate boost of hydration that we craved without weighing the hair down. Another easy-to-manage style that doesn’t require curls to be super defined.

Having dirty hair can make it feel grimy and heavy on your head. The best thing to do to get rid of it is to carry some dry shampoo around. Our testers reported that while hair didn’t feel completely oil-free afterwards, it looked freshly washed and didn’t feel unpleasantly dried out. This was a win for thinner and finer hair too, as our testers found that it adds a nice volume boost. For those with sensitive noses, take note that the vanilla scent might not be for everyone.

It shouldn’t contain strong chemicals like sulfate or formaldehyde, as these can destroy your hair. After you wash your hair, use a little hair conditioner, then rinse after applying it to the lower part of your hair. Back-combing isn’t something you should make a habit of doing, but it can make your hair fluffier. The best way to back-comb your hair is to use a comb with fine but dense teeth. Lift up a section of hair and, placing the comb on the underside of the section, use a downward motion to comb shorter hairs down towards the scalp. These eight tips and techniques will help you to bring your voluminous, fluffy hair dreams to life.

Don’t use the pick on the top of the hair or the ends since this will cause an unsightly frizzy mess. Focus on the areas that look limper to even out the shape of your fluffy hair. Just as you would with duckbill clips, leave the headband or scrunchie in your hair until it is dry. Then remove the accessory, massage your roots, and shape those curls with your fingers. To make your hair fluffy, you must understand the delicate balance between product application, styling techniques, and hair care. On non-wash days, spritz hair with water and scrunch it to refresh texture and reactivate natural fluff.

The pan fried guo tie have a bronzed, crunchy bottom that's unlike any other you'll run into, with regions of Maillard-ized goodness running along the edges like glorious borders to flavor country. Old Village is famous for their khinkali (pictured), but it's also one of the only places you can get pelmeni in Los Angeles. The boiled Russian dumpling resembles tortellini in size, and it's topped with sour cream, mustard or vinegar and it's traditionally eaten with vodka (I'm not taking the bait on that punchline).

Sure, the cheese-pork-bun sounds a little stunt-dumpling, but the original gyoza is gingery, juicy goodness that's just seared on the bottom and warrants a taste if you're in the area. Georgian dumpling king TKF gives khinkali the white-tablecloth-and-full-bar experience it so thoroughly deserves. In the case of the khinkali, however, you're not supposed to eat the area where the pleats meet (called the "kudi" in Georgian), just the dumpling underneath. Also, feel free to ditch the fork and use your hands, as is the custom. Possibly the worst English translated name dish on this list, the Juicy Pork and Crab Bun at Long Xing Ji is actually a tangbao, the xiao long bao's basketball-playing cousin.

Well, if you're the type of person who's into that type of thing (and don't worry, there's a ton of us), Los Angeles is your dumpling mecca. From Chinese guo tie, to Japanese gyoza, to Korean mandu, to Georgian khinkali, to Himalayan momo, to Russian pelmeni, to whoever's going to take credit for manti, seriously. Mante House treats its thin-skinned miniature mante like pizzas, and the analogy isn't that far off, to be honest. Both are considered primetime party food (I've never been invited to one of these mante-having parties, but I imagine they're rather lit). At Mante House, they come in pizza boxes of pizza-sized diameters (14" for $14.99 aka shut up and take my money) and can have toppings like Hot Cheetos and nacho cheese. A little bigger with a more substantive wrapper than the ones you'll find at Mante House, the Monta at Su Be'oreg can be ordered by the oven-ready tray, so you can get the party started when you're ready...

Hui Tou Dumplings at Hui Tou Xiang Noodles House

This small corner mandu shop inside the Zion Market appears to be a one-lady-operation. It currently features possibly L.A.'s first stunt-dumpling (corn cheese dumplings, anyone?), but don't be fooled. Traditionalists rave about the standard entries including the kimchi wang mandu and what some call the best gogi wang mandu (meat bread dumpling) in Koreatown.

And not almost burning them and ending the party prematurely. Though I never really understood kimchi dumplings, they have an ardent following. One of the standout qualities of Dumpling House's steamed kimchi dumplings is their beautiful circular construction that evenly distributes that extra al dente bite of the steamed wrapper. SGV OG Clarissa Wei described Luscious Dumplings' rapid hand-made dumpling process in a feature on Eater, but don't mistake the speed with which they're made as impugning on their quality.

It's a welcome taste that plays nice with the juicy pork filling. The tightly folded, flattened box shape gives it optimal surface area for pan frying, which lends it a slightly crunchy exterior. What started out as a weekend-only stand is now a 7-day-a-week operation (still cash only, amazingly), and for good reason. Nikuman-Ya is running the gyoza racket in Gardena, and that should really say enough.

Their famous pleated dumplings are crafted with exceptional care and where other dumpling houses might go a little too bready on their wang mandu, Myung In strikes a nice balance by having a thinner skin. I also tried the beef roll pancake and the handmade wide noodle dish.

With a thicker, almost leathery wrapper, you're supposed to sip the soup with a straw and dismantle the rest of the dumpling as you eat it. Area, owing in large part to its perfectly hand-pleated xiao long bao. The soup is visible through the impossibly thin wrappers and each little delicate bite is famously consistent, whether you've had two pieces or 2,000 in your lifetime across multiple international locations.

The contrarian's xiao long bao hideout in Monterey Park serves as solid a rendition as you'll find of the soup dumpling, but the spicy wonton proved even more remarkable on a recent visit. Red pepper and coriander deliver a show-stopping punch before the juicy pork filling rounds out the experience with a satisfying, savory finish. The hui tou potsticker is unlike any other potsticker I've ever tasted, owing to a strong taste of white onion that sticks around throughout.

Home Seller Net Proceeds Calculator: Calculate Your Net Closing Costs on Real Estate Sales

house selling calculator

In fact, home sales are one of the most common ways mortgages are paid off. The title company ensures the original mortgage is paid from your home sale proceeds as part of your loan closing. You want to list your home at a realistic price that draws more buyers in. Your realtor can help you calculate this by doing a comparative market analysis (CMA), which compares your home with similar properties that have sold in your area. With a CMA, an agent can estimate an accurate price that will attract buyers. You might need to make major or minor repairs to sell your home.

Prorated property taxes

This can add up to thousands of dollars that you can use to pay taxes and other closing costs. If you have claimed your home as your primary residence for two out of the last five years, then you should be exempt from having to pay a capital gains tax on all or part of your proceeds. But you can expect to pay this if this is not the case, or if the profit from your home sale exceeds $250,000 (for single filers) or $500,000 (for married or joint filers). If you do have to pay anything, you'll do so when filing your taxes the following year. You should seek advice from your tax person to get a better idea of how capital gains taxes can impact how much you'll actually make selling your house. The net proceeds resulting from the sale of a home can vary significantly based on how you choose to sell the property.

The cost basis of the home is typically the price the home was purchased for, however major home additions can increase the cost basis of the house. In real estate, a lot of buyers judge a book by its cover. That means that making the house look appealing from the outside is essential to get those buyers to come on in. Consider affordable ways to boost your curb appeal, such as cleaning the windows and sprucing up the front steps and landscaping. In addition to talking with your agent, it can be wise to talk with a professional home inspector.

If you’re planning to move to a larger home, you’ll need a minimum of 15 percent equity versus the payoff to sell the house. Use your equity to cover the downpayment or a portion of it when you move to a bigger home. The home sale proceeds calculator uses the costs of selling a home in your area to estimate how much you could make when you sell your home.

This calculator allows you to estimate your closing costs using your state and county. For more precise results, you can adjust existing or add new expenses to the closing costs in the results section. Around 83 percent of buyers’ agents state that home staging made it easier for a buyer to visualize property as a future home. This is according to a 2019 profile by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Research Group. For every $100 spent on staging a house, a seller can potentially recoup around $400.

They also pay for more settlement costs, such the deed transfer, title fees, attorneyfees, escrow fees, and conveyance fees. For every real estate transaction, both a buyer and a seller, have to split the closing costs. On average, a seller should expect to pay up to 12% of the home sale price in closing costs while a buyer should expect to pay 3% to 6% of the home sale price in closing costs.

These autofill elements make the home loan calculator easy to use and can be updated at any point. Calculate an estimate of how much you could make selling your home. Answer 7 simple questions to find out what your home is worth today and explore your options so you get the best price when you're ready to sell. While you don’t have to completely revamp every room, you want buyers to know your home is safe to live in. Your real estate agent can help you decide which repairs you should complete. The Redfin Estimate determines your home’s estimated value based on recent home sales in your area.

Home sale and net proceeds calculator

As the name implies, net proceeds are the money a homeowner walks away with — or nets — after the sale of the property. Staging can help boost your selling price, which can maximize your profit. The cost depends on your interior square footage and whether or not you're living in your home while it's listed.

Finally, staging is an important step in attracting people to purchase your home. While it’s necessary, beware of spending too much in the process. Most sellers can benefit from removing excess clutter and full general cleaning. It helps potential buyers imagine what they can do with with your home once they move in. Having a lot of clutter distracts buyers from seeing potential in your home.

At the same time, you think your home is beautiful and can sell “as is.” But more often, people don’t share your taste when it comes to selecting interiors. Potential buyers have reservations with pets in the house. You also need to deal with pet odors, which can be neutralized by washing stained areas and using air fresheners.

Once a buyer checks your home, get your furry friends out for a while. If you can hire a pet-sitter, then it’s worth the extra bucks. The smoother the viewing goes, the higher chances you’ll get on a good offer. And when it comes to home viewing, it helps to have spotless carpets and tidy furniture.

Staging the Final Touches

Generally, you can expect to pay between 7 percent and 10 percent of your home’s value in fees and commissions. A net sheet is a document provided by a seller’s real estate agent that estimates home sale proceeds. This typically includes the estimated sale price, closing costs and a rough estimate of the remaining mortgage balance to be paid off at closing. Suppose a homeowner is closing the deal on their property for $600,000.

Title insurance

Before selling a house, make sure you have enough home equity. And when it comes to pricing your property, make sure to sell at the right price range. Overpricing a home will make it more difficult for buyers to find your listing. At the right price range, you will attract more potential buyers who might offer more favorable deals. The best time to sell your house is when you have enough equity in your home. This is a must to cover the costs of selling and moving to another home.

Net proceeds and taxes

We'll make a competitive, no-obligation offer on your home. If you love the offer, we'll purchase your home directly from you so you don't have to list it. To ensure a successful sale, your property must be well-prepared. Expect potential buyers to scrutinize every corner of your home when they come for viewing. You might also consider staging the interior of your home to make it more welcoming. According to the National Association of Realtors, 20 percent of buyers’ agents say that staging increased offer amounts by somewhere between 1 and 5 percent. A mortgage loan term is the maximum length of time you have to repay the loan. Longer terms usually have higher rates but lower monthly payments.

The national average for moving costs is $1,667, ranging $889–2,447 for a crew of two professional movers within 100 miles.[2] The price jumps to as high as $6,900 for out-of-state moves. The best course of action, if you find yourself in this position, is to wait until home values level out or begin to rise again. Typically, you'll need an attorney for several hours toward the end of the process and will pay by the hour. Most will allow you to pay through your proceeds at closing. Our team can even recommend repairs and updates you should make to your home in order for it to stand out and sell faster; plus, we manage the work with vetted vendor partners on your behalf. Even if you’re no math whiz, our simple guide makes it easy to understand all the terms and figures in the seller’s net sheet.

It gives the buyer critical information they need so that they can make their best offer, and it reduces the chances of them asking you to make repairs after the contract is ratified. You can pay for this up front, or in some cases, you can have it paid through the net proceeds of your sale. Concessions are a credit from the seller to the buyer, usually for closing costs. This is more common when it's a buyer's market and almost always happens when negotiating with the buyer before their offer is accepted. If this happens, you'll see this on your closing statement as a debit from your proceeds that is being applied as a credit to the buyer.

You can also use our home value estimator to find the best upgrades for your exact home and see which ones will pay off. Repairs and improvements are costs you'll want to consider when calculating how much you'll profit selling your house. When you sell your home, you must first pay the outstanding balance on your mortgage, the commissions to all real estate agents involved in the transaction, and closing fees. This is because sellers pay for the commissions of all the agents involved in a transaction, which can be as high as 6%.

house selling calculator

You also pay other minimal fees for things like escrow and wire transfers. Additionally, if you have hired a real estate attorney, the legal fees will be due at closing. The simplest way to calculate net proceeds is to deduct all of the seller’s closing costs, expenses and the mortgage balance from the final sale price of the home.

Some are unavoidable, but most costs depend on the services you choose to use. Because selling a house isn’t like putting your couch up for sale on Craigslist, where you set a price of $200 and pocket a full $200 in return. At the end of the day, you want to make the house look warm and inviting. A great home impression gives you better chances of selling at a higher price.

These range from Chinese dragon parades to martial arts demonstrations to ethnic dance and music performances. This coastal village now has nearly 100 art galleries that celebrate both the heritage and the future of a community whose vision is to advance knowledge of and interest in art, and to create a spirit of cooperation and fellowship between local artists and the public.

The idea of local artists bound by talent and perspective is the foundation that this community was built on. Carmel was once, and for many still is, a bohemian enclave--a haven for artists and a refuge for writers and intellectuals. While the artists and writers brought creative energy to town, the establishment of the Carmel Art Association gave it structure, stature, and sustenance. The second-oldest art cooperative in the country, it has defined the art community for 80 years. Throughout the redevelopment of this area, the City has used public private partnerships to encourage investment by the private sector in the area. The City identified the best areas for redevelopment, purchased and combined small lots and made them ready for development, and created a plan for the area so that the private sector could come in and begin work more easily.

Cruises on Norwegian Epic

ncl norwegian epic cruise ship

The result of the dispute was that the shipyard would go ahead with constructing the first ship, but that the second and third ships simply would not be built. So let’s start out with the most intriguing thing about this ship. While other cruising vessels usually have at least one other ship in its class — a ship that shares its vibe, facilities, amenities, etc. — Norwegian Epic is all on its own.

Norwegian Epic Ice Bar

If you can get over the layout of the cabins and bathrooms, the rest of the ship is great. The food quality is usually very good, a notable feature of NCL. Again, however, on a recent cruise, there were more misses than normal, especially in specialty dining. I believe this is temporary due to all of the supply chain issues.

The F3-class ship was built by STX Europe at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France. The last ship delivered to NCL before this order that was not at least partially built at a German shipyard was the Windward of 1993. Prior, NCL's new ships had been built at the German Meyer Werft, Lloyd Werft, Bremer Vulkan and Aker MTW shipyards.

Epic's SplashGolf was designed by Adventure Golf Services (a company specializing in the design and construction of mini-golf courses). Instead of traditional solid mini golf balls, SplalshGolf's balls are larger and floating. In September 2008, a dispute over the price of the first F3 vessel (at the time approximately 25% complete) arose between Norwegian Cruise Line and STX France. Reportedly, the sale of 50% of NCL to Apollo Management in August 2007 resulted in Apollo making several changes to the designs, resulting in a higher cost for the first vessel. A dispute between NCL and STX initially resulted in the construction of both ships being placed on hold until a new agreement was reached.

The Thermal Suites also feature everything you’d expect to see in a high-end spa including a steam room, sauna, heated chaise loungers, and rain showers. The changing rooms have lockers and are gender specific with gender-specific steam rooms and saunas, but the rest of the spa is mixed-gender. Bliss is the “Ultra Lounge” or nightclub brand on Norwegian Ships. The Bliss Lounge on the Epic is quite impressive given it’s essentially a well-done night club at sea. When you’re there, you wouldn’t know that you’re on a cruise ship. The lounge is what you’d expect in the evenings and is adult-only starting around 9 pm.

With two lower beds that convert into a queen-size bed, these Mid-Ship Inside Staterooms can accommodate up to two guests. They also feature a separate bathroom with shower and access to some really great amenities. And because they are mid-ship staterooms, you'll have easy access to everything on board. The 4200-passenger ship Norwegian Epic is the latest cruise ship owned by Norwegian Cruise Line before the launch of Norwegian Breakaway (2013).

Start off with a dip in the Thalasso Therapy Pool which will give you a feeling of weightlessness. Dip in the hot tub to start relaxing your body even more and go straight into the steam room to alleviate pain, relax stiff joints, and improve your immune system. This international championship cast will put their best ballroom dance moves on display. There's sizzling Rumba, elegant Viennese waltzes, seductive Tango, and more. These performers know how to heat up the theater and will showcase the classic ballroom styles.

The cruise line is also pretty great about adjusting for dietary needs, if that’s a concern. The cruise ship has been compared to a getaway to Las Vegas, and for good reason. There’s plenty of entertainment and a party atmosphere everywhere you look. Enjoy Norwegian Cruise Line's onboard entertainment, including Broadway productions, comedy clubs, dueling pianos and much more.

The Epic cruise ship has more than enough to keep passengers from getting restless during their vacation. Just like a typical Las Vegas bar, there are video gambling machines embedded in the bar and you can get just about anything you want. This bar tends to get busy with walk-up traffic from the restaurants in the evening as it’s faster for diners to get a drink sometimes. In addition to the solo cabins, NCL has gone through extra effort to support passengers traveling alone with designated areas for solo cruisers to meet and mingle. Look at the configuration and select a cabin with the bed closer to the balcony door. Having the bed immediately upon entering the room makes it feel smaller, so the configuration with the bed closer to the balcony window just feels more spacious, even though they’re the same size.

The ship was one of the first at sea to be referred to as Las Vegas-esque and it's no wonder. Visit Aqua Park and feel the exhilaration as you slide down 200 feet on The Epic Plunge – the only bowl slide at sea.
